Leah Rothlein is a San Diego based Pilates instructor, aerialist, and dancer. She recently relocated from New York City where she earned her Pilates certification studying under Michael Feigin and Genna Baroni. She also holds a BFA in Ballet Performance from The University of the Arts in Philadelphia, where she graduated in 2011.
Leah’s Pilates journey began when she moved to New York after a term dancing in Israel. Searching for a way to strengthen her body and relieve pain from a chronic ankle injury, Pilates became the answer. Since receiving her certification Leah has worked with a wide variety of clientele. Her expertise ranges from older demographics working with arthritis, joint replacements, and osteoporosis, to professional dancers getting in peak condition for their next performance. She incorporates her experiences from dance, aerial arts, and knowledge of biomechanics into her teaching style, making classes and private sessions interesting, challenging, and fun.
